California Car Covers, then select the custom cover for a 1957 Porsche 356A

I agree with Gordon. I would also suggest that you send the sales person a photo of the car showing your mirrors and provide location dimensions in relation to the windshield.
Actually, I agreed with the California Car Cover. I have bought all of my covers from that company. Go to:
http://www.calcarcover.com/cover_step2.aspx . I have used both the Noah cover and the Dustop. While the Noah is $10 more, I actually like it much better and believe you will be happier with it. I would also call them and place the order with a live person so you can discuss the mirrors. Milanka Mendez is a great sales person there...very helpful. Call their 800 number and just ask for her.

I have a NOAH cover for the BMW, and it's fantastic.
I have always had good luck with the oversized this gray generic eBay covers. They breathe, they are thick, and they are cheap. We have them on everything from the Roadrunner to the Dart, to the Cuda. They don't fit real custom, but they are thick and padded!
Scott, my California Car Cover fits snug. It has a pocket for the mirror...I couldn't be more pleased especially after purchasing one supposedly for a 356 Speedster, based on a flashy ad...It looks like a pathetic collapsed parachute!
I have a "parachute" cover that was sent with the CMC kit when I bought it. Almost totally worthless unless you just want to keep dust off.
I also have a generic e-bay cover that seems water-resistant (at least it was on the trip to New England and parking overnight in a downpour). Much better than the parachute thingie, but I only use it a couple of times per year.
I'm sure the California Car Cover will be light years better than my last Carlisle cover, water-proof (and colorful) though it was:

I only use a cover for winter storage. I have a full tonneau and I use a California car duster to give me something to do while my car warms up. Sometimes, I break out the speed wash. The duster was suggested to me by Bill Demeter. I love that thing.
Scott, I have covers for all my cars, but in reality if all you want to do is cover your car in the garage, I also have used my wife's old bed comforters that she changes out every few years...I have at least half a dozen or so that she no longer wants...I just throw them over the cars in the garage...
funny - i was thinking about this last night (for whatever reason) and i am currently using a old set of fitted queen sheets (one front and one rear).
they work Awesome.
i am going to go to a thrift / second hand store and buy a bunch more (and clean them with bleach and fire!)
nice soft cotton and it tucks nicely under the bumpers.
the car cover i have (yes, i have one i am not using) is not that soft compared to the cotton sheets

There's also a low budget version of my Carlisle tarp-like cover (Bet you didn't ever think I could get any cheaper than the first one, but here you go:)
