Covin built their own chassis, type 4 running gear?

WOW - that Covin 911 is outstanding!  I'm surperized Porsche copyright guys aren't all over that.  A 911 with no rust possibilities!  Thanks for link.  The suspect Covin 356 has neat features too.  

This white one here looks pretty nice, the first photo of another within the link that I found was another story. First I've ever heard of these, but what do I know.

o by the way im thinking of modifiying mine to fit an original fold down down top from another car, what do you you think ?

iv carried out a couple of others ie chopped a roof off a 1979 325 bmw and fitted an original 90s 325 hood and flap that folded flat into the boot area looked pretty cool,took it to chelsea car cruise one nice summers days and had crowds round it got loads of attention but sadly only had it 2 day when finished,i got a call from the show the next day was made an offer i couldent refuse so if anyone recalls that bm drop me a line love to here how shes getting on,also a gte scimitar with the same kind of roof 325

but this speedster has more curves so got to search for something more to its shape got to have that xfactor look about it,was thinking of a ka but think its a little to short i know we got to do lots of mods but got to be there abouts on the reach  

also going to need the front windscreen top surround so as to fit original part to the top,i dont mind looseing the rear seats but im sure there would be ample space also

anyway gerry cut a long story short lol

any info on my project guys regarding what kind of roof would suit suggestions please,when i put my mind to somethinkg i do it so its going to be done

watch this space  o an if i acheave it i may be selling my hardtop they also look pretty cool

o gerry by the way your speedster is it a covin or ches ?

Buddy - Check out MangoSmoothie's folding top build.  He documented entire process on his outstanding car.  Not sure if he started with an existing top frame or heavily modified one.  There is a Manufacturer in Mexico but quality doesn't seem to be there for the cost.
