this is for Troy S or Larry J--I cant go out to Ca to do the initial miles when my JPS is ready( most likely in 2-3 weeks) do either of you have any relationship with JPS and could you do the intitial shakedown miles and check list for me- don't know how close you are to N Hollywood-- if possible, how much $ would you charge me.. thanks

You can send a private message to any member in a number of ways.
1) Click the little "gingerbread man" next to a users name and select "Start Dialog with..." You can send them a private message. You can also add other users to the same private message by clicking "Add Participant"
2) Once you login to this site, click "Dialogs" in the upper right corner of your screen. Then click "Add Participants", type your message and go.

Jerry - Dialog SOCer Tom Murtaugh. He has a JPS/Subie and has contact with John Steele.
I would question whether or not someone who needs to keep a good working relationship with John would ever be able to be unbiased in evaluating his work. Spend the money and fly out. Then find someone who doesn't own a JPS to go with you to evaluate the car.
Also, have a private conversation with Kevin "Coolride" about transmissions and Subie powered Speedsters.
