I did mine in nylon put a few beads of urethane while you tape it in and its very perment. used a gimp gun to fold and staple the peaces together the intire thing slides in pretty tight the sealed it up with the urethane they are not going anywhere extept up the road.

They also double as a air rams channeling air up into the engine bay I put rabbit wire over the bottom and forward a foot to keep leaves out it works perfect.

Very nice job and using materials that don't cost an arm and a leg, too!

I've often thought of doing a set out of ABS plastic, just like the "real" car companies use, but the cost of a 4' X 8' sheet at about $100 USD put me off. I've been looking at junk yard cars to see if anything there might look similar in size, but then I get side-tracked with other projects. I've also never figured out how to fasten to the wheel well lip, other than glassing in some sort of mounting strip. It all seemed like enough work to delay me thus far.
