Just wanted to share. I had a "OK" Brazilian one in there, and one time it actually stuck in the start position internally--not good!
I bought a OEM Bosch switch on ebay for $44.10 and installed it in about 10 minutes. The Bosch one has old style screw terminals and was so easy to install and the hardest part was drilling the dash for a bigger switch. Now I have a German made quality original speedster switch!

actually an original bezel from a 356 b/c will work on that aftermarket Bosch switch. I have a set up for my envemo...haven't put it on yet. eventually when I replace my steering column with an original I'll do the ignition switch. I have the column too...just need the time! Ughh.

check out sierra madre collection website. it is the generic Bosch replacement ignition switch. they have the b/c bezel too.

Barry, can you email me your speedster to roadster conversion instructions? I have a planned project that I am trying to get off the ground. I'll explain it to you...it involves a roadster of sorts. my email is pcelenta at yahoo.com.

looking to do a t-6 twin grill roadster. Was trying to get the project off the ground this past spring. minor set backs. Gonna push forward with it but weighing options. Intially was going to import a body molded from an original twin grill but slumping dollar and shipping costs really not feasable at this point. Next idea is to chop up an old CMC speedster and do some 'glass work. I've worked with 'glass so I'm not too worried about molding a new nose and hood. but I am concerned about getting the windshield frame right.
look forward to hearing how you did your conversion.

regards,
Paul
