Hey - anyone around or is everyone at Paso Robles?
I bought some of the Chinese replica guages to convert my CMC over. On the tach, I have this diagram from Carey (thankyouverymuch) but of course my color-code is different. My wiring says "TACH-IGN" (red), "TACH-SEND"(yellow), and "TACH-GND"(black).
My assumption is, based on this diagram, my red wire to tach red (+), my yellow wire to tach white (-), and my black wire to tach brown (?).
I'm not positive which is the "sending" connection and which is ground on the back of the tach.
And once we're done with this one, we'll move on to the combo gauge...

Jarco, just of curiostiy, how much did you get the tachs for and from who? I too have a CMC and trying to convert to the 3 tach look; however, I am still hesitant in doing the fiberglass work to cover all of the cmc holes.

If it helps, and if you are thinking of doing the work your self, I found a great website with pictures on how to do the fiberglass work. It seems pretty easy when you look at the pictures. I will post it tomorrow as I have the link at the office.
