Maybe we could put this post under newbies. I think they are the most likely to not already know of Grundy. I called them and they told me they don't have any procedure for checking the mileage, but that the policy is normally written with a mileage limitation. You might want to look closely at your policy, it probably has a limit.

Now some people might say, yea, but they won't know. Well that may be true, but if they take the mileage on the car at the time of the accident minus the mileage on the transfer of ownership paperwork, it had better not average more then your yearly limit, or they will flat out not honor the policy.

Side note, State Farm just sent me a bill for increased premium do to my mileage so far, no limit, but after a year they are going to ask you what your mileage was for the year and if it is more then 7500 they will be increasing your premium. Mine went up 48 dollars every 6 months because I was over, but under the 12,500 level....I hate to think what they would have added then.
Steven - I was told with both the Morgan and the Speedster there is no milage limit. However I will have a look at the policy. Believer it or not, the cost of the policy was less then $100 yearly. That was for Comp and liability, no collision. Now that might be because there are two cars on the policy? Also it could be because I removed the TR3 and the 54 Chevrolet from the policy both with no claims.
I'll have a closer look @ the policy and check back in.
