Insurance

I know this topic has been reviewed before. Im taking delivery of my speedster, have Florida title. My other vehicles are insured through Geico, who wants no part of the speedster. Called Hagerty, NO deductble,1-3million,fire/theft etc etc... 985/year. Limited miledge,6000miles/yr, which is enough for me. Anyone have a better idea?

Raise the deductible as high as possible and it will significantly reduce your rate.

Is the car being registered in FL or NJ. I think NJ is a No-Fault state so rates are generally higher.

I am assuming that your 2007 IM is well over 40K. Therefore, with the liberal 6K per year limit this is not a bad rate. I also dont think you can add a physical damage deductible if written as a "Classic". Check with Condon and Skelly for a comparison. They write the Speedters as a Modified Vehicle with a deductible.
