Inspection went off without a hitch. Except for the absolute downpour I had to drive through. Now I know what those fiberglass panels that came with the kit are for. The're inner fender panels to keep the water splashing off the front wheels from entering under the dash. My feet got soaked...oh well.

Inspection went like this...

Show me your papers....
Wait in little room....
Mr. Smith, Where is the recipt for this....wheres the recipt for that....

Mr. Smith, please turn on headlights, high beams, left signal, right signal, brakes...
Ok looks good, we'll call in two weeks when we have your VIN plate.

No sweat!

As for insurance...he told me it would be $50...I assumed he meant per month, hence the $600. Nope, $150/year, I need to see it in writing, it's to good to be true.

State Farm is the cure for insurance issue. There is no problem with being the policy holders only car. Their policy is for formal appraised stated value and no limitation on mileage.Obviously the clear choice. However this Company at the time of my IM speedster purchase insisted that the insured be in the State Farm family a minimal of six months. Best advice for insurance ask questions get written quotes.
It's legal!!!! Got my plates today! I drove it to work this morning! I can't belive how easy it was to title, register and insure! Whoo-Hoo!!!

I can't belive I did it. The funny thing is, other than the kit, the major suspension components and the engine the rest of the car came to my house one box at a time via UPS, FedEX and USPS.

I have already answered the "What kind of car is that?" question at least 20 times just today!
