NICE!
She's looking good now Marty! You must be very excited.
A couple of questions Marty.
1) Do you get to keep the broom stick?
2) When did you decide to build two?
Lookin' really good. Bet you can't wait to get that down to Lake Shore Drive this coming February!

Damn, Marty. That's going to rock the Windy City.
Marty,The car is fabulous. The anticipation must be killing you. As you get closer the the completed build,it must be increasingly more difficult to sleep at night. Thanks for your kind salutation while Bobbi and I were in Osoyoos,B.C. Our best to Sandy, too.
Marty-
It'll be worth the wait. Getting EXACTLY what you want is priceless.

Rich, I have not seen Lake Shore Drive in over 20 years. Last memory was of me and Fast Eddie. We each had a hottie in the passenger seat and were heading down to Eddie's dads boat in Birnham Harbor. He had a 82 Vette and I had an 86 V-8 Camaro 5spd with no air. Eddie's exhaust was hanging low and you should have seen the fireworks show coming out of the back while racing down LSD at midnight. Those were the days!
Very nice, Marty. You gonna let me drool on it?
No drool on the Italian leather:)
Very nice !
Did anyone catch the wiring harness board hanging on the wall in the 2nd photo?

Good catch Alan. I paid a specialist in Onatrio, Ca to do my Subie Harness.

My bumpers are on and Henry said that the polished Carrera trim will be done early next week. Beehives look fabulous.

NICE!!
It's definitely moving up into the way-coolness zone Marty.
I see that large third brake light up under the grill--good call. That baby should really be bright!
We need all the safety we can add to our cars!
It's gorgeous, Marty!
Thanks Guys! The wait is tough, so need lots of patience.
I assume that third brake light in the grill is an IM option?
Or did you supply it to Henry?
Car looks beautiful.

3rd brake light is a stock option.
Bump... I meant stock not an option.
You need to get out of the office more, Marty ;-)
I drove the Real Porsche today. Brings the anxiety levels down:) Gonna start a new thread when next updates come. This one is getting long.
Creme is good!
Marty...dood ...that Paint colour is something that I'd like to do to mine someday. Could you share the colour code for reference ? Also, was that harness made by Tom Shiels ?
David, color code is POR51A Cream White or Carrera Cream. IM Glasurit Urethane. Its from 2009 an newer. I like it a lot, it gives a modern spin on an old school color. BTW if you want Porsche to paint your car this color they charge an extra 3k (yikes) Yes, Tom did my harness.
Marty--it looks ivory---is it more an ivory or lighter-- like a cream color?
Whatever it is it's quite beautiful. I know you went nuts deciding. I'd be curious to know what your second color choice was?

Jack, the shop lights and the fact these pics are being taken inside brings out the cream in many of these pics. Outside the color is more very light tan with hints of cream. I designed my car around the interior and carpet. I like many outside colors but I am more picky with the inside. I was stuck on either the Coffee Bean brown on the Rick Davis Roadster and the Stallion brown which I eventually went with. My other color was GM Vanilla Latte Metallic best seen on a Cady CTS, but I talked myself out of the metallic paint and went from there.
Marty, you are quite the "Stallion", if I may be so bold to say that..
Speaking of colors Fiat 500 has some good ones. My faves are Mocha Latte, Azurre, Verde Chiaro and Verde Oliva. All of these would look great on a Speedster/Roadster.
