I like the plain non-miles driven ADAC badge better. A million miles in a Speedster is a little presumptuous - except for maybe MUSBJIM, David and Jack.

One of the great joys of old cars (and replicas) is the grill badge tradition. This sort of automotive bling is just way too cool for modern machinery, and it links all the old stuff in a kind of stylistic brotherhood. I am especially proud of my real T-Register badge . . .
..which of course compliments my authentic, low-number T-Register dash plaque . . .
Which is another cool type of thing old cars have that new cars mostly don't.

I scored a real Porsche Club of America badge that came with a PCA windshield decal.
Good-looking red and white badge showing "PCA"
Although I'm not trying to fool anyone the badge and decal does add a touch of authenticity to the Speedster. Well---the engine is Porsche 914 (with a VW heritage).
The first couple of years my VS sported the original 356 Registry badge, that was on my '59 coupe forty years ago, until I was zinged with a caustic (but legitimate) comment at a Cars&Coffee gathering.....It's been proudly replaced with Rich Drewek's SOC badge.
The former president of the Illinois PCA gave me a badge, but I don't sport it. I adorned the car with just two, Drewek's SOC and a USMC badge.
Anyone ever see this car badge. Wife was in Pentagon working when terrorists hit - she lost many long time friends and co-coworkers. Obviously on someones CMC hibachi engine grill.
