We have sprayed their prof. stuff many times with varied results.
First couple of times it worked great. Great results... all downhill from there. Same gun, same person doing the work, same clear, same type of parts, etc...

Stuff always looked KILLER when sprayed, but the last few times it "milked" when cleared. Went from a high polished chrome, to a dull aluminum look several times. Alsa said it was the clear and sent us a b\new high solvent, fast cure clear (that dried REALLY fast) and that didn't help... Unfortunately, you can wipe off the "chrome" paint with the lightest touch, until it is cleared. I gave up on it.

Also, the process is a long one. Primer, base in black, clear, wet sand, buff, high polish (the "chrome" finish is only as good as the black underneath), spray w/ chrome, hand rub, clear, sand, buff, polish.

Honestly, it was worth it the first few times (w/ good results) but going through all of this to get results I could have achieved from a cheap rattle can, well, it got old really fast... AND at $2200 a gallon... 'nuff said.
Barry, I used Ace Hardware zinc chromate paint on my silver parts. On stuff I wipe down, it went flat. I've never touched my front suspension pieces with a rag, and they still look like aluminum. Seven bucks a can. I hit them with grey primer first, then the chrome stuff. The nose cone of the tranny, the spring blades ... Anything that wasn't aluminum or steel got painted orange, black or chrome silver.
These pictures were about six months apart. Hope they help -- before you spend hundreds or thousands of dollars:

i have my motorcycle exhaust at "Hypercoat" at the moment. I'll post pics when I get them back in a week or so. I choose their "chrome" finish although their stainless steel look was tempting. This is (supposedly) a ceramic coating that can withstand 2000 degrees
or so. Being a 2 stroke it doesn't get that hot. I looked at the samples of the colors/finishes-
some nice stuff. I just couldn't afford the chrome, I was quoted between $650-$900 to have them done, that's not for me.
