Boy, that is interesting. A coachbuilt VW based 'vert with a Porsche motor. Interesting. Have no idea what the value of it is....

I saw that vehicle in the Imperial Palace this summer in Las Vegas. There was no price posted on the info package....but it did look interesting. I had to take 2 looks at it to figure out what it was, but it appeared as the price would be very high...the old saying...if you have to ask, you cannot afford it!!!
I'm willing to bet it was a descendant of the guy who designed that who brought us the Cayenne and the Panamera.
I'm equally certain that Porsche decided that the car wasn't different enough in appearance from its contemporaries, and that the front-mounted grille left every factory guy who saw it more than a little unsettled.
Nevermind WHAT it is though, that little car has been beautifully restored by anybody's standards. I really like the combination of green and tan.
