These wheels - although a little busy with the two sets of circles - look nice on this coupe.  I've been looking for some wheels for my IM, and have found some similar ones here:

Just doing some thinking...

Chicken Pox wheels    Actually now that I went to the english site they are kind of nice but they would be quite expensive with all the trimmings and landed to you.

I think and the ones Joe Fortino has, the Codington wheels are nicer and you can get them in brushed aluminum or full shine and the centers are also available.

Those are a steal of a deal, Will, and so light too. If I didn't already have brakes and wheels that's probably the route I'd go. Al

PS- The alloyreplicas would be interesting if they came wider (5 1/2, 6 and 7") since there's such a selection of 16" tires to choose from, but they're still too expensive for the plastic Speedster crowd.

Bob, I've liked Imagine wheels for a long time and I really like the wheel style you linked to.

Imagine wheels are very strong, but they're also heavy.  While at Henry's, checking up on my IM's restoration,  he showed me a set of Imagine wheels that one of his customers had ordered.  I couldn't believe how heavy they were.

Ron you have weighed real Fuchs so you know .... they are really light

The prices of real Fuchs wheels are getting 21 window VW bus stupid and that's why I think those 5.5x15 Vintage wheels are such a great deal, if they really only weigh just over 10 pounds.

I think a set of Vintage wheels in black would look awesome on my Thing.

The FUCHS on the IM6 build were $5000 in 2008......I've seen some at $8000/SET(4) in ads as recent as TODAY....yes approaching 21 Window STUPID. I will sell them for LESS than the 2008 price and that's a PROMISE to any FORUM member. Have already gotten a few PMs and hopefully someone will want them. Will make them available to others ONLY after it is apparent that there is NO INTEREST here.

There are a lot of Fuchs out there but some are dreaming of winning the Lotto

In any case to refurb a wheel is about $325 up here so unless they are immaculate think that the cost is $325x4 Plus tax to refurb 4 of them plus their cost.

That is why the Coddington Rudge Aluminum wheels are becoming more interesting and I am hoping they come out with 16 inch ones if I need new shoes for Sabrina ..

Lots of good information here.  If I could go wide five, I would look into the Vintage wheels, but wide fives won't fit a 911 suspension.  That leaves the beautiful Technomagnesio wheels out also.

Coddington/HRRB/Alloy Replicas (as Carey recommends) is being looked into also.

BANZAI's Fuch wheels are gorgeous, but are 15".  With brand news on my current wheels, I'll try to stay with 16".

The 911 set up in Henry's IM6s take a very specific offset and width front and rear, as there isn't all that much room in there for wheels.  Porsche 993 or 964 cup wheels will fit, but they look too modern.

Life is so confusing some days...LOL
