Alan's right, there's nothing closer to Porsche than the early VW blinker switches. If you want to add a sweet touch, sculpt three little narrow ribs on the top of the housing with bondo or JB Weld. The earliest Speedster's and most of the other models had something like this on them. These ribs will really pull it into the "realm of real" without dumping a fortune.

Also lose the VW knobs and go with repro Porsche items, buy genuine Porsche green numeral gauges, the hand brake is a necessity, and for a final touch, try to find one of those beautiful big ivory, stock, two banjo spoked steering wheels with the full horn ring. Nothing looks more charming or vintage.

Now you're into the world of oatmeal square weave and genuine speaker surrounds, but WHAT a difference all this makes ! ! !

Luck (and The Lottery),

Try this one...finding a good used one on Samba is tough, to almost impossible. The preferred option is a Type II Bus 66-67, but NOS, if you can find one, is often over $200. You can find used ones.

The Wolfsburgwest repro is nice, although you have to use a floor dimmer. I have used lots of Wolfsburgwest parts in the past and they are good to deal with.
