Interior color help on VS

Hello

I have sent this picture to VS after I got
wrong color in my first attemt to order one -
also got another wrong color on 2'nd attemp.
So I guess VS don't know the color.....

So does anyone of you know the name of this Vinyl Interior
on a 2008 VS ?

Cut a small sample from under the seat and send that to VS

I hoped I could avoid that - since I live in Norway ;-)

i had a 2009 VS and the interior was "buckskin" if i remember
not sure if its your color or not, colors are different on the screen

heres another shot, different lighting.

Thanks Bob, but I guess your color is the same as the second boot I got from VS.
It is much darker than the one I have.

My guess would be Camel or Buck. But from the pictures, Buck is too dark.

The one on the left of your picture looks like Teak. Would be nice to know what the other color they sent you was.

Yea but you have a better chance of getting the right color :~)

I think the color on the left was called Light Sand not beige.

I believe that VS uses Allante vinyls in their cars, a superior leather-like covering that comes in a terrific variety of colors.

Here's a link to one of the larger supply houses, they carry the full line. Five full pages of colors:

They'll gladly send 2 X 4 inch samples of whatever color(s) you ask for. See if there isn't something listed that matches your boot color. If there is, contact VS and request that they stitch up a boot in that color or just buy a square of it from the supplier and have a cobbler/seamstress/tailor replicate your shift boot.

Is there a possibility that your interior has faded and the new ones haven't been in the sun?

It would be less aggravation to send VS the original shift boot.

Do you know what cam is in the 1776 engine? I like the lower end performance demonstrated in the video, curious . . .

Sorry, no I don't know which cam it has. Perhaps Troy S will chime in. I was told that it has CB Performance heads. It also has a nice exhaust setup. When I get my camera out for interior shots for you I'll try to get some other shots of the go-fast stuff. It is not at all sunny here today so I may wait a day or two to get you some photos.
