Interior door release

In the cmc manual it refers to a handle release bracket. Anyone know what this was off or a similar version? I am having trouble sussing out how a turn handle with a square insert can work without this!

I've got a nice locking exterior handle (for what its worth lol)

Thats the one - fab thanks a lot. I have had a look on the site and there is actually a flatter one that could be fitted behind the door skin so that it does not interfere with the door trim.

Now looking for a matching handle. I have emailed the shop to see what fits directly to the mechanism.

As the the push down lock pin that goes up from the lock itself through the top of the door - does anyone bother with this or just leave it off?

lol its early and just realised what I wrote about the door pin locks - bit pointless on a roof less car haha

These will fit - or use the pre '65 plain chrome ones for more authentic look

Locking buttons would be a bit superfulous -- you could add an electric solenoid to lock doors and tie it into an alarm system to slow a drive it off thief away.
