Wondering what these knobs/switches are for on these Speedsters. The knob/sliding switch that is located above the clock NOT next to the clock. Are they for the AC/Heat? I don't see any vents.

Probably a defrost vent adjuster/diverter.
Could be after-market add-on; no visible A/C vents...
Scroll way down here to "after-market accessories" for possible further info:
Speedy723, those are not speedsters. They are either coupes or cabriolets.
As I said before..."bare bones"
The speedster (convertible D & Roadster) dash has no provision for a radio. No clock, no ash tray/cigarette lighter, and no glove compartment. No windows. No seat back adjustment
Just bare bones ecstacy!
An example of a really bare bones Speedster dash (plus a really terrible steering wheel). I can say that about this car because it's mine. I have since upgraded the steering wheel thank goodness but haven't sprung for the other bling yet.
^ Throw in some CHT temp gauges, and it's close to mine.
Love the car phone!
Gauges?
Stan, are you monitoring more than #3 cylinder?
Like Rich's but after the bling was added. On my car (they differ quite a bit from builder to builder) the two two the left of the steering wheel are headlights and driving lights. The one to the right is the heater fan. My wiper switch os on the right side of the steering column. You mileage may vary.
Gauges?

All 4, Carl. All 4.
WOW! That IS interesting.
What variance is there between #1&3 to #2&4?
3 runs probably 15 deg hotter than 1,2,and 4-- but having them all has helped me know which idle jet is plugging before I even get out of the car. It makes troubleshooting most problems really, really easy.
Lane--your Speedster looks brand new. Funny to say that as I know you like it better today with so many improvments you have made.
Nice work with the pix too.
Rich--get yerself some cocoa mats---Kirk at Vintage offers about the best around--several colors to choose from and reasonable prices. I got two sets--one for everyday driving and events and one set for car shows. A set would look great in your ride!
Gauges are on the top of the list, a grab handle would be nice so as to not allow any unknowing soul to grab the windshield post, cocoa mats from http://www.cocomats.com/ was on my Christmas list last year and will be there this year again, the ivory knob thing would look plenty better and maybe an Ed Roth, Rat Fink shift knob (it's a joke!) on my already installed CSP shifter. I gots me my F-16 seat belts already installed and this winter I may try refitting my "stock" tan shift boot back on. I've been moving much slower on these improvements and just enjoying the rides lately. The bling don't make it run any better. The high tech-KPH convertor almost over-extended my budget.
Nice photo Terry :-) but I'm staying as Spartan as I can.
Rich, is that a 'starter button' next to your cheat sheet?
I've got a hilarious starter button story that will pee your pants...I'll save it for Carlisle'13
No, Carl, that's just my fan (non-existent) switch knob.
