I'm going to put some interior lights on my Speedster, because that's one of the main "modern comforts" that I am missing. I'm not sure if I'm just going to install a regular switch, or if I'll use pin switches in the doors. I'm thinking about either mounting the lights in the kick panels (close to where my heating vents "should" be), or in the doors (not sure I want to cut through my door panels, though).

Does anyone have any cool looking interior lights? Just looking for some inspiration here...

Here you go:

Chose either the license plate lamp assembly for a 1971 MGB or the map light assembly for a 1969 MGB.

They're the same (or similar) and consist of the base and bulb holder, a cool clear glass dome lens very similar to the front beehives but smaller, and a wonderful domed and chromed cover/bezel with one side eliminated to allow the light to shine down (or up or sideways, depending on how you mount it.) You really don't need the base if you go for the license plate assembly.

They're really an elegant design and worthy of mounting on the right side of the dash as a map light. They just look period perfect ! !

Check them out. I could post a pic if anyone wants to see one up close.

Oh, and for you race car guys . . . . they make a truly terrific little exterior light for illuminating the numbers/meatballs.

Tres LeMans if you know what I mean.
