I recently sold a very nice JPS, and I've got several observations which I'd like to share with you publicly.
First- Your car is beautiful, and despite all comments concerning the lottery, etc- is worth every bit of what you are asking.
Secondly- Your car will sell- it's just a matter of how you market it.
Lastly- It seems counter-intuitive, but I wouldn't waste any more time here. Regardless of what they say- guys who seriously want to buy a car rarely do it here. I had my car listed for over a month on this site. At least 4 guys took me to the alter with a lot of "I'll pay full price" nonsense- but when it came down to it, they couldn't pull the trigger. It was on ebay for four days, and sold. Guys who want to buy cars, buy them on ebay- guys who want to talk about buying cars, talk about it here.

I sold mine on ebay in 4 days, guy came gave me cash deposit wired the money to me and then drove the car home to kentucky.
Let's get that KY boy fired up and to Carlisle next year!

I pushed hard to get him to go, but he owns a chain of auto parts warehouse supply stores and I think he's just too busy sometimes? Super nice guy, and knows his stuff on VW and other engines.
I agree, Stan. Had my 84IM listed here and had a lot of 'wow, nice car'....but no takers. Ending up selling it in a few weeks through my local Auto Trader.
