Howard,

Those that know me are aware of my short attention span with cars. I very much still enjoy my IM but was considering a low mileage 95-98 993. When I think about moving on to something different, I uncover the car or drive it and realize what a nicely finished, driving car it is. That said, everything has its price. I would not consider letting it go for less than $39K. It in as new condition and has about every conceivable option and would cost a great deal more than that to duplicate. It may sound rediculous to some, but those that know the car, know it's a realistic price.

Dan, Youre preaching to the faithful.Im in line for an IM speedster 6 with Henry which he will start building after the New Year., which will wind up upwards of 50-55 large. Youre car is worth every penny. Beautiful build as Ive seen many pics of it standing beside other IM, etc, I was asking for a friend of mine whose interest is piqued due to what IM doing. Any additional specs you can provide would help. Im ADD when it come to things motorized, but regular production cars are always yesterday's news. Im doing an IM for what I hope to be long term. We'll see.
Thanks for the kind words Stan.

Howard, your build will be awesome with that drivetrain combo. My car has the following specs:

A/C, Pwr Windows, heater blower fan, full leather, Original 356 steering wheel/column, umbrella handle handbrake, Blaupunkt stereo and subwoofer, Intermittent wipers, full authentic appearance door panels, dash and square weave carpet.
American spec. bumpers with overriders, standard and full toneau covers match cloth top fabric.
Hey Howard -

I think we're all looking forward to seeing that bad-boy you're having built. Like Dan P. said earlier, that drive-train of yours will make your car a smash at any 'meet'.

As to left-coast/right coast, you'll find that when you're in your Speedy, driving it IS THE Prize (no matter where you live) - and days of good driving weather is just icing on the cake!

Peace - Out!
Howard - pic ideas for your car... Every time I go to NJ, I make a trip up to Ramapo park and Skyline Manor. Your car, on the road that surrounds Skyline Manor - mmmmm.... Nice! Especially in the spring or fall. Park traffic only at Skyline Manor, so taking pictures would be very easy! angela
I know the Manor well. Yes, there will be many opportunities. Many of the roads that I bike on would be very good for the speedster. Going through NJ horse country, New Hope, Pa, along the Delware River. Beautiful stuff, especially in the Fall. It would be hard to beat PCH though, Big Sur, Napa, Calistoga, Mud Baths and wine country. This is beginning to sound like a tour. Maybe I'll take a couple of weeks to DRIVE the thing back to NJ. Ive flown over the country, maybe an excuse to drive THROUGH it, is in order.
