I don't know this car in particular, but any of Henry Reisner's recent cars are well worth looking at.
Thanks Lane!
Do Henry’s cars need you to be a mechanic to keep them maintained? I am not a mechanic! Looking for an every day driver.

That car appears to be VW powered. Just find a good aircooled VW mechanic in your area and let them handle maintenance.
Wow, two owners and only 2800 miles in nine years.
Intermeccanicas are fairly reliable, but they still need regular maintenance (carb adjustment, valve adjustment, etc).
What do you mean Ron? Mine is all self adjusting and self maintaining. Didn't you ask Henry for that option...

I've never had any need to touch the carbs on mine, Ron. Other than oil changes (which I do myself) and valve adjustment (which I don't do myself), the car has been completely reliable and trouble free.
In all fairness I believe the Vintage Speedsters are just as reliable.
This car has been listed twice, maybe 3x on ebay. Last posting ended Feb 11th, with only one bid, "expired", so probably a low ball that the seller ignored rather than respond "denied". Same price BTW as the ebiz, $44.9K
Rusty;
I like the aggressive but sophisticated stance that your car presents.
I have seen the car in person a couple of times, as recent as 2 weeks ago. I was stopping into Intermeccanica US to discuss putting a retro looking sound system into my white IM. This black IM is really nice, in perfect condition, with essentially no miles. Michael at IM US is outstanding. Honest, knowledgeable, and fair. Other than a stereo that looks out of place(something they could easily remedy), and perhaps a new steering wheel, the car needs nothing. If you have any specific questions, just ask.
I'm hoping mine will be as reliable as yours, when I finally get it back on the road.

Well, Ron, I'm crossing my fingers for you...
Looks like the car Paul Mossberg just claimed. Congrats to Paul. What a sweet, sweet ride.
