Dennis-This is a very fun event. My wife and I have driven to Vancouver from Sacramento in the Speedster for the past 3 years and have had an absolute blast. This year do to a job change and a limited amount of vacation time, we are flying up and renting a car.

Let me mention that this event is put on by Henry of Intermeccanica but is open to ALL car owners. Every year there are participants with cars from other manufacturers and some of the local Porsche guys come out. If any of you plan on attending, go to www.intermeccanica.com and register.

This year the BBQ is on Sunday at the Intermeccanica shop and those that want to participate a bit more will be staying Friday and Saturday night on Vancouver Island and taking in the scenic beauty on a couple of tours.

This will be terrific fun. If you live in the Pacific Northwest it is an easy drive, come on up.
Warren and all,
Wish we could go, especially since I'm considering a move to one of Henry's roll up windows, air conditioned creations.....need to keep my partner happy.

Have another bicycle ride across the state of Iowa scheduled on that weekend. 500 miles of rolling hills and aerobic fun. Going with my youngest daughter, should be a blast.

Getting "older" has many benefits, so many choices!

Best regards,
Cal

I kinda hoped to get to Henry's BBQ this year, but the downturn in the economy has caused us to change our plans. I even had a personal invitation from Henry at last year's Carlisle show, but we still can't justify it right now.

Rest assured, though...Kathy and I will get to Vancouver sometime, for sure!!

I sincerely hope that you all have as great a time as I expect you to have!!

Gordon
