Fellas, a dealership just opened 3 miles from my home. The guy is bringing fully restored IMs and offering them for sell at $40,000 - $50,000 depending on options. The one I saw had electric windows, air-conditioning, cd player, and keyless entry. It was incredible, but pricey. Apparently, it was sold to someone in Chicago. They paid a lot, but someone has a nice car coming to them. He has some other ones for sale, and used ones, but wants an arm and a leg.

Look at the IM site linked from this page. As you will see, this is very much an IM dealership, taking custom orders. They can cut shipping and titling, plus the travel distance for potential customers on the east coast is shorter. I'd like to visit it sometime just to check things out and meet the owners. I am sure Henry has 110% confidence in this operation.
Sorry guys, 3 miles from my home does not help much. I live in Hickory NC which is 45 minutes - 1 hour from Charlotte, NC depending on traffic. I also used the wrong word. Not "restored", just "built". They are new, and when I went, I was told henry was there a few hours earlier. Now, everyone knows where David's house is. Come by for some lunch one day. We'll take a ride. Oh, it is J Stefano's. His name is Jerry Steven McNeely or something like that. I was told they went with the italian version for the dealership name.

I'm hobbling around my house after spraining my ankle while playing soccer with my grade six class (tried to 'deek out' a future David Beckam, and down I went).....hobble to my reading chair....hobble to the computer chair....and later, hobble to the TV couch. 25 years of playing soccer with my students and this is my first sprain....must be old age! Thankfully my darling wife got me a pair of crutches...now I can take the dog for a hobble.
Still feel like crap. By the way, the weather in Hickory is descent. Overcast, but nice. Alright, I am out of ocnversation. Going to get some rest.
Good night fellas.
Take care of that ankle. (gas pedal ankle or clutch ankle? Makes a difference on this site for some reason.)
David
