I bought my roadster D (IM12169 built in 1989) with the motor already pulled (it had issues, now resolved) and the wires just hanging around…so I had no chance to tag them……and the "shop" that pulled the motor didn't give a poop !!!!

Now I am finishing up the install of my 'new' motor and need to re-connect all the wires.  Do NOT want to guess on these.

Can anyone with a IM speedster of roadster, with a type1 motor/alternator/dual carbs, please take a gander at the wires to the gauge senders, distributor and alternator, and tell me what colors go to what ?????

MUCHO APPRECIATO !!!!!

UPDATE>>>>>

all the wiring worked great, oddly, the blue wire to the "generator", in my case the alternator, was spliced back at the firewall and changed to a red wire….everything else was spot on. Got her fired up and running, idling smoothly, timing all set. She is at Peninsula Automotive getting fine-tuned with float levels and proper air/fuel etc etc. I did not want to drive her around running lean/hot….she will be hot enough just breaking in, no need to make it worse by guessing on the jetting.  Really looking forward to driving this gal around, with my #1 Gal in the passenger seat.
