Intermeccanica In "Excellence"

Latest issue of "Excellence" magazine (Sept '03) has a very nice article on the replicas built by Intermeccanica. The piece is "teased" on the front cover with a small Speedster pic and the line "Brand new Speedsters?" The article is seven pages(!) with lots of pictures and describes Henry Reisner's Speedsters and Roadster RS's.
It's generally very favorable (which ought to rankle many of the Porschefiles who read "Excellence") even though the Vancouver weather didn't exactly cooperate during the author's two test runs.
Vancouver weather less than perfect? Go figure.

Actually, John, when my wife and I were out there a week ago, the weather was perfect! B.C. is having a very dry summer (hence the raging forest fires they have experienced). We only had a little rain once, which surprised me. It's a great drive across Vancouver island in any car.

Anyway, that was a good article on Speedsters, and as you say, should raise the profile of all Speedster manufacturers.

Bob, this is the promised land. It seldom rains here and humidity is a foreign word to us 'Hollywood North' types. You know about humidity, don't you Bob?

P.S. the humidity part is true, but I was lying through my teeth about the rain. You have to admit one thing...the best X Files were the ones that were filmed here...dark, wet and gloomy...just right for that show.
