I just bought one that has been parked in an old barn since 1984. Cool cars and they were all hand made by Henrys father in Italy. Tom
Tom, do you plan to restore it?

IMHO, Italias are the old IMs to have. Really, really cool.
Fantastically beautiful cars.
As much as I love the car and one of my best friends owned it that just passed away...I don't think I have the skill and help to bring it back to it's original glory. This may be a job for for someone who's father built the cars in Italy.
That's pretty sweet. Kind of a much more sophisticated Beck Lister. One Italian design, one British, but both with American muscle.

I am sure you know that Henry is doing one now. Not a simple task even for the skilled.
Nor is it an inexpensive one, but he would certainly be my choice.
Ouch price on ebay one! Way back in 1975 a college friend of mine bought a used 1968 IM Omega Italia coupe with original 289 ci Ford and 4 speed for $3500. Fast beautiful all steel car. Sure wish I had bought a DeTomaso Pantera I looked at then for $6000. Where'd you park the way back machine?
Sure wish I bought that '58 Porsche Carrera II instead of the '61 Super 90 back in '75. Both priced at $1,800. Who knew….?
In 1963, I bought a Nash Metropolitan...
Who knew?
In 1969 I bought a 1967 Mini 850 for $700. I couldn't drive a stick, but I took it for a test (grind) anyway.
