I know Dave, I was just being a smartass.

What it boils down to is the purists and the rest of us: I would never own a car that I couldn't alter (unless I had enough money that it was just another one of the collection). It's not in my nature to leave well enough alone when it comes to the cars I own. I think alot of us are that way. I was merely pointing out the contadiction in owning a replica and then dissing the originals because they "aren't as good as our cars" and go for big $, it's ridiculous to compare the two because they're only similar in looks really (someone above eliquently pointed out the basic similarities).
