Mike- I'm located near Qualcomm Stadium in San Diego

Bryant- I won't stop contributing to this fine web site or this great hobby.

Bill- Thanks for the compliments. If I don't sell the car, no big deal. I'll just put my other projects on the back burner. Heck, it's Summer and I'd still love to drive her in this fine So CAl weather we have.
Glenn,

Drive it in the fine weather to Kelly Park. Then I can trade a very clean and vintage Formuling France Wheel and hub with button for that old wheel on you Speedster, maybe I can drum up some rare wide five lug drums and we can swap out those wide five lug discs.

I am not too far from Kelly Park, so it would not be a problem at all. I will even provide a warm lunch from one of the famous Northern California eaterys, (do you like burgers?)

P-
Jeff, there is an IM speedster (Like Glenn is selling) that has a much lower roof line and no roll up windows, and an IM Roadster (like I'm selling) that has a higher roof line and roll up windows. Just to confuse things, IM is now offering a new IM speedster with roll up windows. Hope this helps.
Ron
I wouldn't own one without rollups....when we drive on the interstate I like to roll up the windows, because I feel less vulnerable to road debris and less wind "bucking". And its nice for rainy moments.

Of course in a nice weather area who cares the windows would always be down anyway!!!!
Greetings:

I am very interested in purchasing a replica speedster. Could you be so kind as to email me some other photos. I have been looking very seriously at Vintage Speedsters' product. Since you arleady a speedster owner, I was wondering if you had any thougts on how the Intermacannica and Vintage, or Beck compare. It may be a stupid question, since Intermaccanica was a first-rate auto builder. It's just that alot of new things have been developed since Intermeccanica stopped building them.

Also, since the pan is '67, I was wondering if the YOM plates are just for show? What year is on the registration.

Finally, I'm in Torrance, just south of LAX...are you in the San Diego area? I would love to purchase and drive home, if you know what I mean.

Thanks for your time, and I'm really interested!! Not just a tire-kicker.

I guess I might as well ask...how negotiable is the price. I am not looking for some give-away or steal; I know the market for these cars. Anything you can add would be appreciated.

Of course I'll be at Kelly Park this year. Just 3 weeks away. Are you atending the Bug-In the Sunday prior? VW events happening every Sunday this Month (Bug-In on the 10th, Red Barn on the 16th, Phoenix Bug O Rama on the 16th, Kelly Park on the 17th, Pomona Swap on 24th & Bob Baker on the 31st) Then we've got the Sacto Bug O Rama in May just before the VW Classic in June. Here comes the show season....
Hello Glenn,

Mathilde and myself would like to thank you very much for the warm welcome in San Diego and especially in your nice family. As I already told you, I enjoyed the adventure of coming all the way from Switzerland to buy the car of my dreams, but I appreciated even more the spontaneous hospitality and the time that you have taken for us.

I hope that the planned evolution process that your car will go through in the next future, will make you happy as well!

Greetings from Switzerland,

Peo & Til
