Does anyone have any photos of a Speedster with this colour combination?

I am trying to decide on what colour I would like for my project and am vacillating between black or Irish green (almost close enough to British Racing Green whilst still being 'authentic' for the 356).

I have found enough pictures of coupes and 912's in the green, but without the hood it doesn't really provide a good representation of what the Speedster would look like.

Cheers,

Jim.

Scott,
Thanks, I have seen that one before - although I think the colour on that speedster is fjord green.

Irish / BRG is a deeper colour, almost like forest green (BTW you can buy a new mini in BRG).

Mel,
If you have any photos you could send/post that would be great.

Cheers,

Jim.
Hi Jim,

Sorry no luck on that British Racing Green Speedster. I must have ditched the photo's.

I tried to do a quick one on two of my photo's. It's not quite the correct Green, but Green it is! I'll try get one of my photoshop guru's at work to mix one up for you.

Take a look at my files, there's a picture of a speedster in the color forest green (2003 Boxster color), with a medium tan interior. The shots are shaded, and it looks much darker in pictures than it is in person.
Better pictures of the same car at www.exclusive-motors.com in their inventory section,
or you can follow these links

Thanks. When I decided to do it, everyone at the shop told me NO. They were convinced that a "British" color combo on the car would look funny... I was very happy with the results. The metallic makes it look green in direct light and black in the shade. I think it would look just as good in a non-metallic color as well. Many manufacturers use a non-metallic base of their exterior metallic colors to paint under the hoods and trunks etc, so I'm sure that this color is available without the flake.

FWIW: Since I did this one, I've had 3 orders for the exact color combination.

Back to packing for Monterey...

Carey,

Thanks for the photos - that is exactly, and as good, as I had imagined. But then again I think any vehicle looks brilliant in BRG!

I will do some research and see if I can find a non-metallic version of the paint. Do you happen to know the manufacturer - was it Sikkens, PPG or another?

Cheers,

Jim.
