You won't need a torque amplifier, either. I just did both of mine yesterday. 165 lb. me standing on a pipe over a 1/2" drive bat handle and positioned my weight at 20-24 inches (as Alan said). Position the pipe so it'll be more-ore-less horizontal when fully tight (like 2-3 o'clock), then put your full weight on it and stand til it stops.
That's it.
You can either have someone stand hard on the brake, or assemble the wheel, put the car on the ground, block the wheel and then use the socket/pipe.
