Hello. Just want to know if anyone has ever built a 356 from a super beetle chassis? CMC used to have an adapter kit for superbeetles, does anyone else? I have a cmc kit and a friend of mine has a superbeetle that I can use and I am wondering, will this car work, or is it just plain too much trouble. Any and all help will be greatly appreciated.
Thank You.

Mase ..

Don't "go there" a Super Beetle frame head exchange to a standard Beetle frame head is a "professional only" job that dictates the need for a frame table / "Lazerliner" etc.
I did one and wouldn't do another just not worth the time and effort involved...get yourself a standard Bettle chassis.....Alan
The back half will work ,but you need a standard front section for most kits.

I had rust problems on the front half of my pan and did a swap. Contact the kit builder if you wish to proceed The build manual that came with my VS was very helpful and I am very pleased with my car.

Alan is correct, it can be tough ,but with careful planning it can be done.

If you have little money, limited parts and the time. Its your call.
