Thanks
I have a guy over there building some m-bikes for me, cant seem to get in contact with him, not answering emails or the phone, has my $$ and I don't have the bikes. If there is some one close by I'd like them to go by his shop and see if he's still about, at the moment I'm $10k out of pocket and cant make contact, I'm in the land down under, its a bit far for me to hop on over, but I will be there in December

any help / suggestions welcome

Regards Bill
Thanks Leon and Bill, I'm not sure how things work in your country, I dont know if this guy has, fallen apart, done a runner, or just slack, but I do know he has $10k of my money and wont answer my mail or his phone.... so l'm getting worried ... being so far away just makes it so dam difficult to deal with

Regards Bill
I thought of the caller ID and had some one call from the USA with the same result, I called a bike shop thats not far away, they went down and knocked on the door, said they could hear some one working inside but would'nt come to the door, they did say they had heard that a friend had died, which is what he saids to me in the one email I got ( Sept 13) also mentioned the 2 bikes will be ready to ship the following week , since then haven't heard from him and cant get any reply to my phone or email messages, I mean I think he is genuine, he was so busy, working 16 hour days and looking for more employees as he had so much work on, etc etc....

He really seems like a really top guy, I spoke with him on the phone many times. None of this adds up and its a real bloody worry. not just the 10K but the future business I've been working on www.unclebillsbikeshop.com ( I'm uncle bill)

The guys name is Darrell Robinson Cell # 2295605987 shop 229 2449910 web site www.southernspeedshop.com

The guy in the bike shop down the road has just told me theres a ForSale Sign now outside his building

I dont know what anyone can do to help me with this,,, but thanks for listening
Regards Bill
PS anyone know any other custom bike builders... ?
Bill:

I'm not too close but I'll ask around to see if anyone is headed to Jacksonville soon (my VA buddies are back and forth a lot, but I'm not due down there til mid-December). Valdosta is kinda-sorta on the way and it might not hurt to have a few Marines show up at the door of the shop - OK, so they're disabled Vets, but they're still scarey Marines.

One of my Jacksonville buddies has a bike from here> http://www.h2ocycles.com/

VERY custom and VERY nice and set up for either "normal" riders or for his special disability (missing right leg), and a guy in the neighborhood owns one of their bikes called "High Roller". It's on their web site in the gallery...

Good luck....Gordon

Oh, and let us know when you'll be up here and maybe we can hook up.

Bill....You can access the Atty. Gen. as follows......Via the internet, Georgia.gov then select "state government" then "executive" then "Attorney General".....Thurbert E. Baker....

This should give you a start, and keep you off the streets for a while....Ga. Gov't. like the US Govt. is slower than lead....You have to burn huge amounts of money to see anything happen.....Thanks for allowing me to vent...Good luck.
