It is bitter sweet.......

but I have sold my car to a really nice guy named Jason in Colorado Springs. He has paid me a deposit and we will be getting it ready for shipment in the next few days. Hopefully he will be on the board posting pictures of it.

Thanks to everyone for all of your support, this was a really tough decision for me. Don't forget, I may not have my car, but I still want to hang out with the gang, even if I have to drive my prius!!

Now, hopefully I haven't spoken to soon.......

Cory- yes it is true I do drive a Prius, and you are correct in thinking it is so unlike me! BUT, the $262 lease payment and 50 miles to the gallon won me over. Interestingly enough, I really like the car, plus it is socially acceptable among all of the mercedes and beamers in the real estate world, go figure.

Jenn, sorry for the lose, I loved that tub too! I know you'll pop back and pick up another tub as soon as the market picks up again... I look forward to seeing both you and "D" on our next run when you two can make it..

Now that it is all said and done (the money is in my bank), the car will be off to Colorado tomorrow morning at 10 am.

I sold it outside of ebay, selling price was $20,100, slightly less that I wanted, but so happy it went to a nice guy that is going to enjoy it. He said he had been driving his wife crazy for the last 3 months obsessing over craigslist and ebay trying to find the right one. Hopefully he will feel inclined to join the madness of the SOC.

Does this mean I have to remove my car from my profile? Hmmm... maybe I will make up a ficticious car....any suggestions?
