The colors are starting and everyone knows that the east coast has the best fall colors. So, it's time once again for the FALL PICS. Let's see your fall pics at it's best. A great way to see and show our gorgeous rides. I will be making some movies and posting them on my site, www.mikeandjosee.com

It's fall, it's colors, It's Speedster time. Let's see your colors wherever you are.

Post them here. I need to wait for the rain to stop and need to work on my brakes. But I'll be back with some pics. The Queen Mary will be docking here next week. That should be an awesome photo-op.

Here in the lowcountry winter is when the mosquitos slow down a little bit and you can actually wear a long sleeve shirt without sweating.

Speaking of which (well... sort of) I brought up the idea some months ago that Charleston and environs would be a great place for an informal East Coast Speedster event in the fall months. Since we're almost there, is any one interested? I don't have a lot of details in mind yet (other than convincing some folks to bring some Speedies my way so I can drool on 'em :-) but this area is great in October/November, and there are lots of things to do. If there is some interest maybe we can put something together.
Supposed to get an accumulation of snow tonight. The IM has been put away for yet another season. I believe I didn't even go thru 2 tanks of gas this year (small tanks!).

Speaking of seasons....we have two seasons here...winter and construction. There's a small window of time...May and perhaps June when winter is all but over and construction season is not in full swing. That's when I can drive the car but this year I was in Portugal in June. Otherwise the roads are ripped up to the extent that trying to drive the car could easily result in some serious damage. Not just the smashed windshield I had this year when passing a construction area and a dump truck dropped a rock on the car.

Maybe when I move to Ontario I'll get more use...at least that's what I keep telling myself.

I don't know about top down but I did drive it for 2 days about 3 years ago in March. It was minus 30 out so I had to leave the windows open so the windshield and windows didn't ice up on the inside.

That's probably about the same....

There's actually a couple of inches of the white stuff here on the ground now and you can barely see across the street...blizzard. I just want to go home and fire up the woodstove and have a drink. 1 more hour...
