Mine's DPO ran a 3/8 fuel line to the pump and secured it with a hose clamp. Clamp pinched hose, hose ruptured and peed in the dist. Dist. lit off the fuel and made the hood/decklid/engine cover a crispy critter. At least that's what my forensic analysis sez.
Replacing the body part would be more effective than repairing it - unless I can't find one.

Check with the manufacturers - Intermeccanica, Vintage, JPS, Beck. You may be able to purchase one from them. Ask them if theirs fits the CMC, my guess is they will.
