Go to the "settings" tab at the top of this page and click on it.

Make sure yu enter your zip code at the bottom of the settings info page.

Then go to "Registry" and you'll see other speedster owners listed in order of miles from your location.

You are not alone.

But there aren't a lot of speedster only events coming up in north Florida. You might want to look into joining a local classic car club in your area.

Or check the calendar in Hemmings Motor News......There are a lot of shows in Florida in the winter months.
Greg's right about Florida being a BIG state!

Although I've been known to make the run to J'Ville in a shade over 2-1/2 from Beaufort, with the usual road cornstruction in Georgia (and their almost total lack of rest areas in that state) it usually takes 3 hours to there, 4 to Palm Coast (inlaws), 4:45 to Daytona and 5-1/2 to Disneyworld. Yes, we've made that trip a lot.

BTW: the mayor of Ridgeland, the town that installed speed trap cameras out on I-95 which were determined to be illegal by both the state and federal governments, has been voted out of office as of November 10'th. To my knowledge, the cameras have been de-installed. They were between exits 33 (Yemassee/Walterboro) and 25 (Hilton Head - I-278).

Cruise on!

Here you go:

I heard that the Beaufort club is supporting some show in NE FL sometime late January but can't remember where/when. I'll ask around and let you know.

Plus a number of unfaithful make it to the Rolex 24 hours of Daytona from time to time. Tickets can be pricey, but go for Saturday to see the start - well worth it, and park on the infield at the track (costs about $10/day to park) and just walk right in to the garages and hoopla. Infield entrance is through the tunnel at Gate 4, near the Olive Garden on the road to the airport. You can see the start from the bleachers on the infield just after turn 3.
