I was just thinking of how nice it must have been for all those who went. I was just reading the thread about it. Well, I am definitely going next year. Do people go every year? Are any of you guys planning on going next year? I think I'll join you guys if you do.

Depending on my work schedule, yes, I would like to go again in 2006. The event itself is not really of great interest to me, but the drive down and back was so wonderful that I would be delighted to repeat it again. Ran into great people down there, Vince and his beautiful wife, Simon, my good driving buddy Ray Armstrong and numerous other people.

Driving the Big Sur coastline, crossing the Golden Gate at daybreak, the jaunt thru the redwoods... That drive itself will keep me in the garage tinkering happily until the weather breaks this spring.

The 50th is a one time thing, but give a person a reason to drink beer and you have an event....the die-hards meet every year....
