Let me be sure that I understand you. John let you drive BEHIND his car? Not IN it as a passenger or as a DRIVER, but following behind him in your OWN car?
WOW ! ! ! ! You are truly blessed . . .

TC U R A REAL PRICK :)
Late to the party, as usual, but I do love the car and the smooth look. I would defintely vote against the straps. Engine hook-ups looks really familiar. I gotta get me some of those Oh-ficial rain hats. I wonder if JPS would paint them same color as the car?? That would be cool.
Very well done.

So Prick, what is your favorite stick on thingy?
IMO, the speedster that represents this site the best of all time is Leader's black beauty....if you look in his photo's, there is still a few shots of it.
Oh, Sludge...stick this on your thingy.....

Those shots of Paul's ride just gave me an idea. If the gas tank is so much front and center and always right in your face like that, a really nicely re-constructed suitcase or wicker basket tank cover would look PISSA on top of it, wouldn't it?
Just a cover-lay to give the impression that you had a large suitcase under the lid, rather than a big 'ol black painted fuel tank. Cut down a sweet old leather or tweed texture train case. leather or brass corners, handle in the front, with travel tags attached to it. A handful of travel stickers on the top, paint the gas entry hose either body color or flat black or whatever to help hide it. Possible a rounded over-sized Hat Case to cover the top of the spare tire even.
Could be kinda cool for the wine and cheese style outing or lawn event.
Maybe?
