Look up John P Steele on facebook. Lots of photos. Is someone getting served?
I may have a couple of photos from years back. This is not, um, for a hit, is it?
I still remember John saying he'd meet up with green coupe owner TomD at Carlise. He never showed. I think he entered the witness protection program. I looked at JPS website and facebook - only see photos of Patrick.
John is on Facebook, though.

I recall that moment well when John Boy avoided Tom D. and scooted right out the show field...………. I also remember the time I was a tad younger and still had some lingering " New Jersey " in me. John Boy ran his mouth directed toward me at Carlisle to the point that I nearly presented a him with a " Folded Five Finger Sermon" right there at his booth in the red building , but thanks in part to Kelly Frasier, I choose the high road.
Thanks to all who responded. To date, Mr. Steele owes us $20k+ and will not deliver anything. We couldn't accept the car as there were title issues and he tried to install the wrong motor. In my search for another 356, I ran across a replica in Georgia. Ran the numbers and the chassis was stolen and the motor was JDM. Had to tell the dealer the bad news. Guess who built it?
Likely I will lose my money as civil suit will only yield 50cents on the dollar. It's worth that to not have to ever deal with Steele again. I am leaving that to others who are now informed and are taking actions. I am helping them as best I can. Mr. Steele may be in for some big surprises. But I feel good that I gave him every opp. to refund first.
I would NEVER advise anyone to have a car built. If a builder can't afford to build using his capital and sell a completed car, don't go there. If you can't drive it, inspect it and run the component numbers, you're asking for big trouble.
We are good. Sleep good at night. Got a quality build already completed Vintage outlaw speedster about a year ago. 7 shows with 1st in all and best of show in two. Many offers to buy so the public likes it almost as much as we do.

Pics or you don't have it
Sounds like a nice car.

Way more satisfaction with the "folded five finger sermon". Just sayin'...
Things never change... Or so it seems.
