Roger Wilco. Still waiting. I spoke to Steve yesterday and he said the engine glitch was resolved and he and right hand man Tom were going to take it out for more testing today. Will it be ready before I leave for Ohio to help darlin' daughter move.....who knows. Believe me, there isn't anyone more anxious than me, but my build contact does say 4 - 6 months, and I just went over 4 last Thursday.

I think it will be fun, although not to the degree that the monster Spyder you referred to was Theron. With more weight and less power, it won't be frighteningly fast but pretty interesting just the same. When I ordered the car, I took my own advice and that given by others to newbies, think about how you will use the car and order what makes sense to fill that need. That's what I did.

Im guessing that 6 month waits will not be uncommon as orders start to build....I think a lot of people are just hanging back and letting them get things sorted and running before ordering. I'm sure that is a little scary for Steve, but in the long run is probably for the best for everyone. I have been in businesses that exploded and became quickly unmanageable and quality suffers, I'm sure Steve won't let this happen to him.
RonO, yes a high performance Speedster or Cabriolet would be interesting, but that is more than this cowboy was looking for. I had a blast with my 1776cc, and the 2.2L Suby will be a big jump in performance, enough for me I'm certain. Having almost reached
"geezerdom" I am not looking for more than I can comfortably handle on a day to day basis.

After I return from Ohio next week, I think that I will receive something with the proverbial bow on it (no wise cracks please, unless they're clever ones.....oh boy did I just give RonO a green light). I'll be practicing up farting the U.T. fight song and I think maybe give RonL some competition with his rendition of "Oh Canada."

My daughter, a recent U.T. grad (masters), will have to teach me the tune, but will probably request I hold my practice sessions elsewhere. Funny thing about that.
