JPS A Coupe Coming Along Nicely

Looks like JPS posted some new photos yesterday. The coupe is really coming along, looks great in silver. Can't wait to see the interior. Is anyone on the forums in line for one of these?

Funny that such a neat and unique car has a price tag of only $19,950.00 for the basic version!

That's a nice looking replica. You could make it into a mild outlaw with not too much expense. I'm suprised John can do it so economically as well.
The bottom right photo of the ferrari look like an Enzo. If it was anywhere but hollywood you'd have to think it the one that bozo cut in half.

All I can add is that the coupe looks RIGHT. Very nice!

John had his new coupe at Knott's Show last weekend. Still unfinished, but very fine body lines and typically good JPS panel fit. I think this one could be a real winner for all you "four season" people who live in nasty weather land. A two day trip in that vehicle would be a dream compared to an open speedster, with no security worries at a motel overnight. Did you say air conditioned -OK! John told me the coupe is actually a bit cheaper to make than the typical speedster. Apparantly all that convertible top hardware and canvas is not cheap, even for a manufacturer.

Now if we could just convince him to slot a nice EFI golf drivetrain under the back, it would really be a serious all weather option. :) A guy can dream.

Maybe if someone would commit to buying that thing, I could trade in a couple years -- when I'm tired of my open-only car in Baltimore winters! (Who the hell am I kidding? I'll wear battery-powered drawers first!)

Weird though . . .

It's looks SO much better half finished in the shop, in paint, without wheels, in the air . . . than down on the ground and out on the street.

It looks like fiberglass, the open cars don't . . . really should be the other way around.

TC; maybe it looks more plasticky because it doesn't have any trim installed....

Could be. Outlaw-style Speedsters don't look like plastic, and metal outlaw coupes don't either and they usually don't have too much trim in place.

That car sort of does, at least to me anyway. No big, just kinda does .

You should know since you have a real one! I forgot about that little detail for a second.

boy oh boy, looks beautyful, and more daily drivable too... hmmm!
