It sucks up a whole lot of oil PSI running an oil line all the way to the front of the car for a cooler.  For sure you'd want a 30mm oil pump.  You also want to ensure oil doesn't drain back leaving lines dry and sump filled to overflowing.  For sure don't park on hill with the nose higer than the engine! Hiding it out of air stream ahead of front tire is a waste -- simply do same in the back wheel well (behind tire - protected from debris) or over trans with air ducting in and out.
