Those are not known to be the best for cooling. Car does look sharp, though.
One JPS coupe I saw had an oil cooler/fan in the front wheel well ahead of the tire. I don't know how well the cooler set up would work.
A cooler in the front wheel well works well enough on 911 Porsches, but then again, it's merely a brass tube with no fins.
I didn't see a cooler at all on this JPS. Car does look nice though, with a few modifications(shroud #1) it could be a very nice ride indeed.
Unless you've got an Accusump, I'd never consider a front mounted oil cooler on a wet-sump engine. It's just a bad idea.
It sucks up a whole lot of oil PSI running an oil line all the way to the front of the car for a cooler. For sure you'd want a 30mm oil pump. You also want to ensure oil doesn't drain back leaving lines dry and sump filled to overflowing. For sure don't park on hill with the nose higer than the engine! Hiding it out of air stream ahead of front tire is a waste -- simply do same in the back wheel well (behind tire - protected from debris) or over trans with air ducting in and out.

Yes. Dry sump engines (as on a 911) are fine with front mounted oil coolers. Henry put two in my IM6. With 11 litres of oil, there is not much chance of an oil shortage.
But, for a wet sump, best to place a fan driven cooler in the rear wheel well, etc. That is where IM puts theirs.
And that is the extent of my knowledge on this topic...
