I ordered some trim items from JPS a couple of days ago and spoke at length to John Steele about the new coupe. It sounds very nice! He wasn't totally happy with the first prototype, so he's re-engineered it. He says he got rid of everything he didn't like about the Speedster, as well as everything he didn't like about the original coupe, and improved upon it. He jokingly called it the "super coupe".

Get this: Standard power windows, optional gas heater and A/C, seat heaters (forgot if standard or optional), leather interior, etc., etc. Nice ride!

It won't have some of the original chrome and a few other items - at least at first - as they are simply unavailable. Still, it should be an incredible basis for a truly cool ride.

Let's see, when I win the lottery I'll get a JPS coupe for winter or the heat of summer, and keep my Speedy for those wonderful weather days. Life is good.
