John from JPS is selling a green Subie Coupe for $39,000. It supposedly was built in 2010 on a VW frame. I'm in Texas so getting out to look at it won't happen quickly. Does anyone know anything about this specific Coupe or have any helpful suggestions. George

Do you have link to the car for sale?
I need pictures to help, especially if it's Tom's from PA.

Didn't Tom's car have darker tan leather? That dash, particularly the instruments, looks very different than what the original cars had.
It's not Toms car, it has a Subaru engine.
John's assistant Hilda told me the coupe was John's personal vehicle.
The paint on the first two cars in that link look ridiculously good
I looked at this car today. Pretty nice but non-standard gauges. I went ahead and purchased a used Subie 2.5 loaded but didn’t like the interior. I am getting him to put in a new interior in a light wine color. It’s was built in 2018 and has 250 miles. Like new but owner had financial problems.

I’ll have two speedsters early next year when I take delivery on my Vintage Motorcars order. I’ll keep my favorite and sell the other 🤪
How do you trust a seller who only managed to put on 1500 miles over 5 years ....
It says 8,700 miles 🤷♂️
That 1500 is the current owner. The first owner put on the rest.
1 drive 1500 a year just going to the liquor store
Me too. I've had the Coupe a month now and it's got 400 miles on it.
