Rusty - I did on my MacBook and other similar trailers on my Mac. Very easy to do. If you have either MacBook or Mac, this movie trailer program is in the iMovie feature on your Dock (or Finder).

Dave took me for a spin in that car at Carlisle last May and it is a very nice runner.

Here is Dave's coupe from this May.  We met in Indiana and caravaned to Carlisle with Rich Drewek. 

Doc---sad to see this but I understand you know what's best for your situation.  If it's a health issue, I hope you can get it resolved quickly and maybe return to Speedsterdom!

Just to save any one from the temptation I've made a commitment to buy Dr David's Subie Coupe.    I've talked to John Steele any number of times over the years about a coupe and when this one came up it was just too much of a temptation not to pull the trigger.  I have some details to complete but the check will be in the mail to David with in the next day or two and then John will make a couple minor adjustment to the car and ship it to me in Pa.  

Over the next day or so I'll introduce myself.  John Heckman

The car is being shipped today from JPS and is supposed to land in Pa the middle or end of next week.   Excited to see it.    Gotta go get a license for it and arrange insurance.  Hope that is not going to turn into a project.

Thanks Alan,   I think I've got it figured out.   Car is to arrive no later then 5 Nov. I talked to the folks at Sollenbergers and will be able to title it as a 74 VW.   Insurance quote from Hagerty and I may check with some of the others mentioned.   

Well,  It's Nov 5th and I haven't heard a peep from the shipper.   Promises Promises.  I have no contact information so here I sit.  Like a kid waiting for Christmas morning.  

John, the coupe was just spotted on the PA Turnpike heading east...

Seems it's to be in an enclosed transport but I'll take it any way it gets here.

Geeze you'd think they could give you GPS coords as to where it is at any moment.  Good to see it return to East Coast - always afraid of how many we'll loose when the big quake hits there!

Absolutely,  My wife would feel better knowing I am not the only person so inflected.  

Car is supposed to be landing this evening.  Meeting the fellow at the Blue Mt interchange of the Pa Turn Pike.  Woppie.   

I got the car home and in the garage.  Only issue is the seats are reclined back more then I like but I think I can adjust the rear mounting points with some type of slim to tilt them forward.  I could see how this would be necessary for a person with some height.  I'm short enough I can trade one for the other.   Neat car.  It sure looks and drives like the original I would think (never having driven a REAL one).   It is a pretty car.  That's probably its best feature. Looks great in my garage.  Its going to take a few miles of driving to get comfortable with the handling.   I can tell it would be easy to get into an over steer situation with it.   Short wheel base and back end heavy.

The seats on my vintage were tilted too far back also. There are 2 bolts holding each seat trac  to the floor. I  made hardwood shims for the rears and used fender washers for the fronts.
