John Congratulations!! The coupe looks even better with the moon hubcaps and rear window chrome. Welcome to the madness!

Yes--that rear windor chrome makes it complete. That was always an odd thing t be missing.
Looks great. I really like coups especiallt this one.
Hope you are doing well, Dr. Dave.
A nice upgrade would be to add Porsche 914 seat adjusters. Nice smooth front to back action and near 3" of tilt.
how much higher will that make the seat,
And have you done this?
Alan, I'll give you a call and I look forward to it.
Got to put some mile on the car today. Did a couple things. Put some 1 1/2 blocks under rear mounting point for the seats to get the backs more vertical. Big help. I lowered the front tires two lbs air pressure (to 22) and put about 75 lbs of weight in the trunk (if you can call it a trunk) and filled the gas tank (some old pulled bullets from my days target shooting) . These efforts seemed to plant the front end a little. The outside rear mirrors are too far to the rear (or more accurately the seats are too far forward) for them to be of much use. This might not be correctable. Being vertically challenged. The mirrors are maxed out on their adjustments. Maybe other mirrors would work better but I'd have to find something with the same mounting foot print. Fun little car.
Both the left and right side mirrors on my Speedster are the convex type and they work really well. Mine are mounted just to the side of the windshield frame. I still look over my shoulders though when changing lanes. Along with giving it a lot of gas too.
I was able to get out and drive the car. I've got a couple things I need to address and plan on having Acme Car in New Cumberland look her over. Transmission seems very noisy to me but could be OK. Rancho Pro Street the noise is in the 3 and 4 gears. More noticed on deceleration. I plan to have them check that for me. Need to establish a relationship with local "help" any ways. Any one at Acme the go to guy there or just let them handle it as they see fit?
I spoke to a lad ( might have been John ) at ACME a couple of weeks ago and they had parted ways with their in house transmission guy and now refer work to someone over in Illinois or thereabouts.
That will not help me much as Illinois is a LONG way from central Pa. I'll talk to them Monday and see what's up.
