Julian Speedster Run

Any San Diego, Orange or LA county speedster owners interested in a run to Julian Saturday Sept 8th?

Think I'll take a run up to Julian via route 76 from I-15 on the 8th. Anyone interested in joining let me know. We can meet at the park and ride on Hwy 76 just west of I-15 around 10 am and leave at 1030 am. Have lunch in Julian, sight see then head home.

I plan on leaving my place around 9:30 - 9:45. It should take me about 30 minutes to arrive at the park and ride on Hwy76. If you guys are still planning on coming let me know. Hopefully we can get underway around 10:30.

Hey Bill - Hope all is well with you!

I've been jonesing for some good apple pie, so the only thing that would preclude me from joining you for the ride to Julian would be the weather - specifically the high temps & humidity we've been experiencing (even more so inland). If this heat-wave continues into the weekend I'll probably bow out - I'll call you by Friday.

Hey Jim,

I hope you can make it... it was in the mid 70's today along the coast so maybe the heat wave is over.

Today was PERFECT weather here in the valley, 82 and sunny. Such a fantastic change from the 110-degree weekend.

Susan and I will be there by 10AM; I hope some more Speedsterowners can make it. What is there to do in Julian (besides pie), I've never been there.

Stephan, this place rocks.. you can go into an actual gold mine and tour though its viens and then you can walk around town and shop, they have some cool shops, then gobble down a 5 pound apple pie (Very good too!) and of course you eat there! It's a very cool looking "Ole town look" to it as well.. We started Soccer season so I am out of this too.. DA*& it! If you all go please post some pix for us Soccer moms & dads!

We had a great time hanging out with Roland; the gold mine alone was worth the trip. I think Susan took a few photos while were cruising up the mountain.
