It's been over a month since I last updated Project 40:  1776 motor is now a fresh rebuild and ready to go in.  Sanded and sanded then buffed the black gel coat speedster body back to a high gloss and is mounted to the completed disc brake chassis. Doors, bumpers, hood and deck lid are on and aligned, power deck lid actuator, all lighting, programmable speedometer, dash gauges, switches, all electrical is completed and tested. ( No smoke escaped during this testing) Installed the column, fuel tank lines vent etc.   The owner "Chris" was at my shop last week to see the progress both Chris and his wife were very please and will take ownership at Carlisle. Somehow, I'm somewhat ahead of my calendar schedule.

Dolphin brand, I have been using that set in flared builds for years.  Their new product  programmable speedometer with simple initial calibration set up, driving an exact mile with another chase car then simply hit the calibrate button and it's done, Has digital miles trip, hours and driver selected over speed alarm...88 sounds about right.
