Aloha,

Just went over and visited Ken (K G) and his new Beck Spyder. Wow...that car is awesome. In a previous post I had dismissed all thoughts of getting a Spyder, but now I just gotta get my hands on one. Of course, that's a while off, but hey...if I need reliable all-weather transportation I'll buy a Jeep or something.

Anyway, back to the car: that thing is just awesome. The 2165cc engine really pushes it nicely and the car is well balanced. I didn't push it much in the corners, but Ken did (a little...we were in a residential area) and the thing just sticks like white on rice. I was really impressed with the fit-and-finish of the Beck car. All the doors hung nicely and there weren't any funny noises or badges falling off the car.

All-in-all a sweet ride. Sign me up!
